Authorize Mail clients, Gmail and Cloud apps to use ZSentry:

1. Go to the ZSentry App Login and follow the instructions to login.

2. Once in your ZSentry account screen, click "Dashboard > Personalize > Save". You will be authorized to use Mail clients & Cloud apps.

3. Look in your Inbox. A [ZMAIL INFO] email will be sent to your Inbox, with your PASS (PRE-AUTHORIZED SSL SMTP) and instructions.

• Send Zmail using Gmail: first select the 'From' address for your ZSentry account and then click Send in the Gmail or Google Apps screen.
• Send Zmail using any provider: For example, let's assume that you add the Yahoo Mail address "user@yahoo.com" as your Custom 'From' Address to your Gmail Account. Thereafter, to send Zmail from user@yahoo.com you first select its 'From' address and then click Send in the Gmail or Google Apps screen.
• Read Zmail using Gmail: you receive the Zmail in your Gmail or Google Apps Inbox, and read by clicking a link (also by copy-and-paste, or as the sender has defined). There is no setup for reading with a web browser. Works with any email address.
• Read Zmail using any provider: you receive the Zmail in your provider's Inbox (for example, at user@yahoo.com), and read by clicking a link (also by copy-and-paste, or as the sender has defined). There is no setup for reading with a web browser.
• Send and read Zmail using only Gmail: you can automatically forward mail received at your Inbox at any provider to Gmail, and handle all secure sending and receiving only in Gmail (Zmail authentication works across forwarding).
• Read Zmail using your Desktop Mail Client or Cell Phone: This feature is available automatically if you are a ZSentry Premium user. In the Zmail, click the link that is marked for Desktop Mail or Cell Phone (or copy-and-paste it into your web browser's location line). This may need setup.
• Verify errors, confirm sending: You may receive a [ZMAIL INFO] email sent to your ZSentry email address giving you feedback in case of an error, or with a confirmation that your Zmail was sent.
• Verify Return Receipt, create Secure Vault (secure Bcc) copy, use other Zmail features: all ZSentry features are set or cleared using the Dashboard, where you will also find the help links explaining each feature.
• Assure HIPAA compliance: to allay regulatory and financial risks, you may want to prevent inadvertently sending unencrypted email. Make the 'From' address that uses your ZSentry account be your default address for sending email, which prevents an inadvertent HIPAA violation while still retaining the ability to select an unsecured 'From' address if desired. Go to "Settings>Accounts" (for Google Apps) or to "Settings>Accounts and Import" (for Gmail) and click "make default" in the line where the ZSentry-secured 'From' address is listed.
• Change an existing Custom 'From' Address to use ZSentry: If you want to use a Custom 'From' Address that already exists as such in the Gmail Account, you currently need to delete it and then add it as given above.
